Prepare the Ingredients
Put the ham bone, onion, chopped tomatoes, potatoes, kidney beans, and green bell pepper in the slow cooker (3-quart capacity or greater).
Add the Broth
Dissolve the cubes of chicken broth in water. Put the mixture in the slow cooker with all the ingredients.
Cook the Soup
The slow cooker should be covered, then ensure it is on high until the soup is warm. Lower the temperature to low and cook for 5 to 6 hours. The slow cooking process lets the flavors meld perfectly.
Serve
Remove the bone from the Ham and cut off any meat left. Add the beef back to it, mix, and serve hot.
