Crispy Salmon Bites Cooked in an Air Fryer

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Lb salmon fillet skin removed, and chopped into cubes bite-sized
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 TSP garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs optional, for extra crunch
  • lemon wedges for serving

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the Air Fryer
  • Set the air fryer at 400degF (200degC) and allow it to heat up while you cook the salmon.
  • Season the Salmon
  • Mix the salmon cubes, garlic powder, olive oil, paprika powder, salt as well as black pepper, in the bowl of a medium size. Mix till the salmon has been coated evenly.
  • Optional: Add Breadcrumbs
  • The salmon cubes seasoned with salt and pepper are tossed in breadcrumbs, if you want a more crispy texture. Coat thoroughly but very gently.
  • Arrange in the Air Fryer
  • Set the cubes of salmon in one layer inside the basket of an air fryer making sure they aren't overcrowded. Cook in batches if necessary.
  • Cook the Salmon
  • Air fry for between 8 and 10 minutes Shaking the basket halfway throughout to ensure even cooking. Salmon bites are cooked when they are golden brown, crispy and cooked to perfection.
  • Serve
  • Remove the air fryer immediately and serve with lemon wedges to give it a fresh flavor.
