Cheesy Beef Wraps

Ingredients

  • For the Filling:
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • ½ tsp chili powder
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • For the Wraps:
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Optional Garnishes:
  • 1 cup salsa
  • Fresh cilantro chopped
  • Sour cream or guacamole for serving

Instructions

  • Cook the Beef
  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef, cook until browned, and break it up with a spoon.
  • Stir in the chopped onion and cook for 2–3 minutes until softened. Drain any excess fat.
  • Season the Filling
  • Add chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the beef mixture. Stir until evenly coated with the spices.
  • Assemble the Wraps
  • Lay the tortillas on a flat surface. Spoon the seasoned beef mixture onto the center of each tortilla.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese over the beef.
  • Fold the Wraps
  • Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll it up tightly from the bottom to form a secure wrap.
  • Toast the Wraps
  • Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Place the wraps seam-side down in the skillet and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until the tortillas are golden and crispy and the cheese is melted.
  • Serve
  • Remove the wraps from the skillet and garnish with fresh cilantro, salsa, or any desired toppings. Serve warm.
