Triple Chocolate Peanut Butter Cake 🥜

Ingredients:

Chocolate Cake:

1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup cocoa powder
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 cups granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 cup whole milk
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup boiling water
Peanut Butter Filling:

1 cup creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
2 cups powdered sugar
1/4 cup heavy cream
Chocolate Ganache:

1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup heavy cream
Instructions:

Chocolate Cake: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two 9-inch round cake pans. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar. Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla, mixing until smooth. Stir in boiling water until the batter is thin. Pour evenly into the pans and bake for 30-35 minutes. Let cakes cool completely.

Peanut Butter Filling: Beat peanut butter and softened butter until creamy. Gradually add powdered sugar and mix until smooth. Add heavy cream and continue mixing until fluffy. Set aside.

Chocolate Ganache: Heat heavy cream in a saucepan until simmering, then pour over chocolate chips. Stir until smooth and glossy.

Assemble the Cake: Place one cake layer on a serving plate and spread the peanut butter filling evenly over it. Place the second cake layer on top. Pour the chocolate ganache over the cake, letting it drip down the sides.

Allow the cake to set for 30 minutes before slicing.

Notes:

Garnish with crushed peanuts or peanut butter cups for extra texture.
Serve at room temperature or slightly chilled for a firmer ganache.
