½ cup finely diced onion
½ cup finely shredded cheddar cheese
For Assembling the Burgers:

Instructions
To Prepare Chicken Burger Patties:
In a mixing bowl, combine all the patty ingredients: ground chicken, egg, bread crumbs, ranch seasoning mix, minced garlic, diced onion, and shredded cheddar cheese. Blend until evenly integrated.
Cover a baking sheet or a large cutting board with parchment paper. Shape the mixture into burger patties. Form all the patties before starting to cook so that they cook at the same time.
Preheat a large cooking pan over medium heat and add a little oil. Cook the burgers for 6-8 minutes on each side, depending on the size of the burgers, until fully cooked.
To Assemble the Burgers:
To assemble the burgers, you will need buns, bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, and ranch dressing. You can also add any other veggies you like.
Place the cooked chicken patties on the buns and top with bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, and a drizzle of ranch dressing. Add any additional veggies as desired.
Serve immediately and relish your flavorful Cheddar Ranch Chicken Burgers!
Notes
Patty Mixture: When combining the patty ingredients, make sure not to overprocess, as this can result in dense and dry chicken patties. Mix just until all the ingredients are incorporated.
Shaping Patties: If the mixture feels too sticky, wet your hands with a little water to make shaping easier. You can also chill the patties for 15-20 minutes before cooking to help them firm up.
Cooking Options: These burgers can be cooked on the stovetop in a pan, grilled, or baked in the oven, depending on your preference. Each method offers slightly different textures, so feel free to experiment!
Toppings: While bacon, lettuce, and tomatoes are classic toppings, feel free to customize your burger with avocado slices, pickles, or onions for extra crunch and flavor. Explore more burger topping ideas on Pinterest.
Serving: These burgers are best enjoyed fresh off the grill or pan, but they can also be stored for later. Reheat them gently to preserve their juiciness.
