Baileys Chocolate Cheesecake Mousse 🍰🎂

Ingredients:

For the Cheesecake Component:

8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1/4 cup Baileys Irish Cream
1 tsp vanilla extract
For the Chocolate Component:

1 chocolate cake (store-bought or homemade), crumbled
For the Ganache Component:

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup heavy cream
For Assembly and Garnish:

Whipped cream (optional)
Instructions:

Prepare the Cheesecake Component:

In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until silky smooth.
Gradually add the powdered sugar, mixing until well-combined.
In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff and airy peaks form.
Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture, then add the Baileys and vanilla extract. Mix until light and fluffy.
Prepare the Ganache Component:

In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until just warm.
Remove from heat and add the chocolate chips. Let sit for a minute, then stir until smooth and glossy. Allow to cool slightly.
Assemble and Serve:

In a large serving dish or individual glasses, create layers by placing half of the crumbled chocolate cake on the bottom, then spooning half of the cheesecake component over it, and finishing with a drizzle of half the ganache component. Repeat the layers, finishing with a dollop of whipped cream if desired.
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld.
