Ingredients:

  • 1 head of lettuce, chopped into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 lb deli ham, sliced into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 lb deli turkey, sliced into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes, halved
  • Various salad dressings (ranch, Italian, balsamic vinaigrette, etc.)
  • Wooden skewers

Optional Additions:

  • Cucumber slices
  • Bell pepper chunks
  • Red onion slices
  • Black olives
  • Hard-boiled eggs, quartered
  • Avocado chunks
  • Croutons
  • Fresh herbs (parsley, cilantro, basil)
  • Feta or blue cheese crumbles

Instructions:

  1. Prepare Ingredients:Wash and chop the lettuce.
    Slice the deli meats and cheese into bite-sized pieces.
    Halve the cherry tomatoes.
    Prepare any optional additions.
  2. Assemble Kabobs:Thread the ingredients onto wooden skewers in an alternating pattern. For example, start with a piece of lettuce, followed by a tomato half, then a piece of ham, a cheese chunk, a piece of turkey, and repeat until the skewer is full.
    Ensure each skewer has a good mix of ingredients.
  3. Serve:Arrange the kabobs on a large platter.
    Provide various salad dressing options on the side for dipping or drizzling.
    Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
