Texas Roadhouse Butter Chicken Skillet
Juicy chicken breasts seared to perfection and coated in a rich, buttery, sweet and smoky sauce. A Texas Roadhouse favorite made easy at home!
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- ¼ cup unsalted butter
- 2 teaspoons honey
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
- ¼ cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped, optional for garnish
Prepare chicken breasts (slice thick ones for even cooking).
Mix together butter, honey, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear chicken on both sides for 5-6 minutes each.
Pour in chicken broth and scrape up browned bits. Stir in butter mixture, simmer until thickened.
Add chicken back to the skillet, spoon sauce over it, and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
