Texas Roadhouse Butter Chicken Skillet

Juicy chicken breasts seared to perfection and coated in a rich, buttery, sweet and smoky sauce. A Texas Roadhouse favorite made easy at home!

Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ¼ cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped, optional for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Prepare chicken breasts (slice thick ones for even cooking).
  • Mix together butter, honey, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear chicken on both sides for 5-6 minutes each.
  • Pour in chicken broth and scrape up browned bits. Stir in butter mixture, simmer until thickened.
  • Add chicken back to the skillet, spoon sauce over it, and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  • Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
