Strawberry Cheesecake Dump Cake
A simple, comforting dessert combining strawberry filling, cheesecake cream cheese, and a golden cake topping.
- 2 15- ounce cans of strawberry pie filling
- 8 ounces cream cheese softened
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 package vanilla or white cake mix
- 1/2 cup salted butter cold
- Fresh strawberries for serving optional
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Spread the strawberry pie filling in a 9x13-inch baking dish.
In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese, egg, and sugar until smooth.
Scoop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over the strawberry filling.
Sprinkle the cake mix evenly over the layers.
Slice the butter into thin pats and arrange over the cake mix.
Bake for 40-45 minutes, until the topping is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
Serve warm or cooled, garnished with fresh strawberries if desired.
