Lamb Kofta

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground lamb
  • 1 small onion finely diced
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp olive oil for cooking

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Mixture: In a large bowl, combine the ground lamb, diced onion, minced garlic, cumin, coriander, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Mix everything well until all the ingredients are evenly distributed.
  • Add Breadcrumbs and Egg: Stir in the breadcrumbs and egg, and mix until the mixture is cohesive.
  • Form the Koftas: Shape the mixture into small balls or patties, depending on your preference.
  • Cook the Koftas: Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the koftas to the pan, cooking them for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they’re browned and cooked through.
