Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Season with salt, pepper, chili powder, basil, and garlic.
Add another tablespoon of oil and cook the diced sweet potatoes and carrots with seasoning for 5-10 minutes, until browned.
Add beef back to the skillet, along with beef stock and brussels sprouts. Cover and simmer for 5-8 minutes until vegetables are tender.
