  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder Infuses the patties with flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika Adds smoky flavor and color.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt Essential seasoning.
  • 1/4 teaspoon Pepper Essential seasoning.
  • 1/4 cup Fresh herbs (parsley or cilantro) Adds freshness; dried herbs can be substituted.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil For frying, giving a golden crust.

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and fresh herbs. Mix well until combined.
  • With clean hands, shape the mixture into equal-sized patties, about the size of your palm.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  • Carefully place the patties in the skillet, cooking in batches if needed. Sizzle for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
  • Once cooked through, remove the patties from the pan and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. They freeze well for up to three months. Don't overmix to ensure tenderness.
