  • 4 pieces Chicken thighs or breasts Thighs stay juicier.
  • 8 slices Bacon, cooked until crisp
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar or cheddar blend
  • 1 packet Ranch seasoning Store bought is fine.
  • 1/2 cup Sour cream or cream cheese Either works as a creamy layer.
  • 3 tablespoons Green onions Optional but adds great flavor.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Season the chicken with ranch seasoning and lay it in a baking dish.
  • Spoon a layer of sour cream or softened cream cheese over the chicken.
  • Top with shredded cheddar and crispy bacon.

Cooking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and bubbly.
  • If desired, broil for 1-2 minutes at the end for extra color, watching closely.

Notes
