Ingredients
  

For the latte

  • 1 cup Milk (dairy or non-dairy) Oat milk is recommended for extra coziness.
  • 1/2 banana Very ripe banana Use a full banana for a thicker and sweeter drink.
  • 1-2 shots Espresso or strong coffee About 1/2 cup of strong brewed coffee can be used.
  • 1-2 teaspoons Maple syrup, brown sugar, or honey Optional if banana is very ripe.
  • 1 pinch Cinnamon Enhances the banana bread flavor.
  • 1 pinch Nutmeg Use sparingly.
  • a few drops Vanilla extract For additional flavor.
  • optional Whipped cream or cold foam For topping, as well as a sprinkle of cinnamon.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Warm the milk gently, making sure not to boil it.
  • Mash the banana into the warm milk until smooth-ish, then whisk in the cinnamon and vanilla.
  • Pour the coffee into your mug first, then add the banana milk.
  • If you have a frother, froth the banana milk before pouring; if not, shake the mixture in a jar for about 20 seconds.

Notes

Use really ripe bananas for best flavor, and you can make it iced by blending cold milk and banana. Let guests customize with various toppings for a fun experience.
