This comforting casserole combines tender rotisserie chicken and savory stuffing, making it a perfect dish for any occasion.
π½οΈ Ingredients:
1 package of Stove Top stuffing mix (or more if you want)
1 whole chicken, cooked and shredded
1 Β½ cups water or chicken broth
ΒΌ cup butter
3 stalks of celery, diced
1 onion, diced
1 can cream of chicken soup
Β½ can cream of mushroom soup
8 ounces sour cream
Salt and pepper to taste
π§βπ³ How To Make Rotisserie Chicken and Stuffing Casserole:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat the oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Lightly spray a 9 x 13 baking pan with cooking spray.
Prepare the Stuffing:
Bring the water (or chicken broth) to a boil in a medium saucepan. Add in the stuffing mix once the liquid boils. Remove the pan from heat, cover, and let sit. Fluff with a fork when done.
SautΓ© the Vegetables:
In a skillet, heat the butter and add the onion and celery. Cook until softened.
Mix the Sauces:
In a bowl, mix the cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, and sour cream together.
Layer the Casserole:
Place the shredded chicken at the bottom of the baking dish. Layer the cooked onions and celery over the chicken, then sprinkle with salt and pepper. Top with the soup mixture, followed by the stuffing mix.
Bake:
