INGREDIENTS  

  • 2 cans (5 oz each) tuna, drained
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • One tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup celery Finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons of red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cup of pickle relish
  • Salt and pepper according to your preference
  • Additional ingredients: chopped hard-boiled eggs, diced bell pepper, chopped fresh herbs

INSTRUCTIONS 

  • Mix in a bowl. Mix the tuna you’ve rinsed, mayonnaise, and lemon juice.
  • Incorporate chopped red onion, celery, and pickle relish into the bowl.
  • Add pepper and salt to taste.
  • Mix all the ingredients until they are well mixed.
  • Test the tuna salad to adjust the seasoning or add more mayonnaise.
  • If you are using any additional ingredients, Add them to the tuna salad mix.
  • After everything has been thoroughly mixed then cover the bowl and then refrigerate your tuna salad at most 30 minutes in order for the flavors to blend.
  • Cooling After chilling, Serve chilled, and enjoy the Classic Tuna Salad as desired. It is great on salads, sandwiches, or even as a dip!
