This Crazy Good Casserole is a hearty and comforting dish loaded with ground beef, pasta, cheese, and a creamy sauce. It’s perfect for feeding a crowd and is sure to be a hit at any table.
Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 (10.75 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
1 (10.75 oz) can cream of chicken soup
1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes, undrained
1 cup sour cream
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper, to taste
12 oz egg noodles, cooked according to package instructions and drained
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Cook the Ground Beef:
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Add the chopped onion and garlic, and cook until the onion is translucent. Drain any excess fat.
Combine Ingredients:
In a large bowl, combine the cooked ground beef mixture, cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, diced tomatoes (with juice), sour cream, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
Assemble the Casserole:
Add the cooked egg noodles to the beef mixture and stir to combine. Pour half of the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle half of the shredded cheddar cheese and half of the shredded mozzarella cheese over the mixture. Top with the remaining beef mixture and then the remaining cheeses.
Bake:
Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Garnish and Serve:
