  •  large onion, diced

  • potatoes, diced
  • celery stalks and chopped
  • cups of beef broth
  • cup red wine (optional)
  • tablespoons of tomato paste
  •  tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • leaves from a bay
  • teaspoon Thyme
  • Add salt and pepper according to your taste.”

INSTRUCTIONS 

  • Sear the BeefThe the olive oil in the Dutch oven on medium-high heat.Then season your beef well using Salt and Pepper.Add the beef to the pot and cook until it is brown, approximately 5 mins per side.Take the beef from the pot and place aside.
  • Saute the AromaticsAdd the onion and garlic to the pot and cook until fragrant, around 2 minutes.Incorporate the carrots, potatoes, and celery. Cook for another 5 minutes.
  • Deglaze the PotPour into your red wine (if you’re using it) and scrape any bits of browned food out of the pot using the wooden spoon.
  • Simmer the StewThen, return your steak to the pot.Incorporate the broth from beef, tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce bay leaves, and Thyme.Let the stew come to the point of boiling, then lower the heat to a simmer. Let it simmer at a simmer for 1.5 up to two hours or until the meat is tender.
