A Savory Sausage and Hashbrown Delight

Ingredients:
1 package (12-14 oz) Bratwurst or smoked sausage, cut into bite-sized pieces
1 (32 oz) bag frozen shredded potatoes
1 small shallot, finely chopped
2 cups grated mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup crème fraîche
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 (10 oz) can cream of asparagus or chicken soup
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
In a large bowl, combine the shredded potatoes, chopped shallot, mozzarella cheese, crème fraîche, heavy cream, and cream soup. Mix thoroughly.
Stir in the sausage pieces until everything is evenly coated.
Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbly. Serve warm.
