A scrumptious French bread recipe (see below)
This timeless French bread is easy and ideal for a relaxing morning meal!

Pantry staples:

½ cup cream
2 big eggs
1 dash of vanilla essence (optional)
1 pinch of ground nutmeg (optional)
A pinch of salt
6 thick slices of artisan bread
1 tablespoon softened butter (or more if needed)
Method
Collect all necessary ingredients.
In a shallow dish, whisk together cream, eggs, vanilla, nutmeg, and salt.
Brush a griddle or pan with butter and heat on medium-high.
Saturate each slice of bread in the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are coated.
Place on the hot skillet and cook until golden, roughly 3 to 4 minutes per side.
