Cosmic Chocolate Oreo Drip Cake 🍫🍪



Ingredients:



Cake:

2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 ½ teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup unsalted butter (room temp)
2 cups granulated sugar
4 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 ½ cups whole milk
1 cup crushed Oreo cookies
Chocolate Ganache Drip:

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
½ cup heavy cream
Frosting:

1 cup unsalted butter (room temp)
4 cups powdered sugar
½ cup cocoa powder
¼ cup whole milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Toppings:

Extra Oreo cookies (whole or crushed)
Sprinkles (optional for a cosmic touch!)
Instructions:

1️⃣ Preheat oven to 350°F and grease three 9-inch cake pans.
2️⃣ In a bowl, whisk flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
3️⃣ Beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla.
4️⃣ Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk to the batter. Fold in crushed Oreos.
5️⃣ Divide batter into the pans and bake for 25-30 minutes. Let cakes cool completely.
6️⃣ For frosting: beat butter, powdered sugar, cocoa, milk, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.
7️⃣ For ganache: heat cream and pour over chocolate chips, stirring until melted and smooth.
8️⃣ Frost the cakes, then drizzle ganache over the edges for a drip effect.
9️⃣ Top with extra Oreos and sprinkles.

Notes:

Chill the cake for 30 minutes after frosting to set the ganache drip perfectly!
