Peanut Butter Cake with M&M’s and Creamy Frosting

2 ½ cups of flour
1 teaspoon of baking powder
½ teaspoon of baking soda
½ teaspoon of salt
1 cup of softened butter
1 cup of creamy peanut butter
1 ½ cups of granulated sugar
4 large eggs
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 cup of whole milk
1 cup of mini M&M’s
Peanut Butter Frosting:
1 cup of creamy peanut butter
½ cup of softened butter
2 cups of powdered sugar
2-3 tablespoons of heavy cream
Step-by-Step Instructions:
Follow these steps:
Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease two 9-inch cake pans.
In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Beat the butter and peanut butter until smooth, then add sugar and beat until fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time, and vanilla. Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk.
Fold in mini M&M’s and pour the batter into pans.
Bake for 25-30 minutes. Let the cakes cool completely.
For the frosting, beat the peanut butter and butter, gradually adding powdered sugar and cream until smooth.
Frost the cakes and assemble.
