🌶️ Simple Chili Recipe (see below)
This warm and satisfying chili is ideal for a cozy meal and can be tailored to your preferences!
Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
1 onion, finely chopped
1 (15 ounce) can tomato puree
1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 (14.5 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
1 ½ cups water (optional, for a thinner consistency)
1 tsp ground cumin (or more to taste)
1 pinch paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
In a large saucepan over medium heat, cook ground beef and finely chopped onion, stirring until the meat is browned and the onion is tender (about 5 to 7 minutes).
Stir in tomato puree, kidney beans, and crushed tomatoes (with their juice). If you prefer a thinner chili, add water.
Season with ground cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to low, cover, and let simmer for 15 minutes.
Serve hot and enjoy your delicious chili!
