Quesadillas Stuffed with Savory Beef Filling 🧀🌮
Ingredients:
500g ground beef
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon ground coriander
Flaky salt and pepper to taste
4 large flour tortillas
2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a blend)
Vegetable oil for cooking
Optional toppings: sour cream, salsa, avocado spread, chopped fresh coriander
Instructions:
In a skillet over medium heat, add vegetable oil and sauté the onion until translucent. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
Add ground beef, paprika, ground coriander, salt, and pepper. Cook until the beef is fully cooked and the onion is caramelized. Drain excess fat if needed.
Remove beef mixture from the skillet and set aside. Wipe the skillet clean.
Place a tortilla in the skillet over medium heat. Sprinkle half of the tortilla with cheese, then add a portion of the beef mixture.
Top with more cheese, then fold the tortilla over. Cook until golden and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side. Repeat with remaining tortillas.
Slice quesadillas into wedges and serve with your choice of toppings.
